We are small by choice so we can maintain a personal touch, and connect with every customer. We know exactly who came to each job…and we’ll even try to send back the same person if we ever visit again so you see a friendly face! We’re committed to connecting and building relationships, one person and job at a time.

We’re not many, but we’re mighty! We have a wide variety of experience and nearly 50 years of combined expertise. From replacing panels and rewiring, renovations and new builds, right down to troubleshooting finicky single plugs, we’re here for all your electrical needs with full-service solutions, transparent communication, and reliable, quality work.

Who is Chad Petriw?

Life can be real short and if you hate going to work everyday, it's going to feel very long. That’s why I started Chad Petriw Electric (CPE).

I didn’t plan to become an electrician. A short stint at university proved that it wasn’t the right fit. I tried a few different trades jobs before landing an electrical apprenticeship. It was there that I took my first ride in a service vehicle….and suddenly I was hooked.

I loved having new challenges every day. Loved coming to work ready to help someone new--and after 15 years as a certified journeyman electrician, I still do.

I built my tight-knit team because I wanted to stay connected. To you, our customers, and to each and every member of CPE so that we can grow together. Above all, I want to build long-lasting relationships - ones that include but also extend beyond our electrical work.

CPE is locally owned and operated. It’s a family business, both in how it is run and, most importantly, that it supports my family including our two amazing daughters! We are proudly centered in Winnipeg, dedicated to building our business one relationship at a time.
